We will be visited by Nellie Tayloe Ross: 1876-1977  One of the best-known American politicians of the first half of the 20th century, Mrs. Ross was the first woman in the United States elected and inaugurated as a governor. She served in the State of Wyoming. She was a nationwide lecturer, and appointed as the first female Director of the U.S. Mint by President Franklin Roosevelt.

Also stopping in, will be Olga Little: 1910 – 1997. Olga was Colorado’s only female Jack whacker: a woman doing a man’s job that provided a lifeline to mines and miners with her string of pack mules. She has a mountain named after her in the La Plata Mountains.

Join us as these two character actors provide some history and entertainment of time periods so important to the beginnings of our state and THE WEST.
