This will be the first meeting of the new Community Marketing Board. You may recall that Council dissolved the old board and appointed a new one. The PR and advertising/analytics consultants remain. The City staff position that supported this effort has been vacant for more than a year, but they have now hired a Field Marketing Manager.
The $648,999 budget will pass to the new board. An estimated $118,976 of that amount will go to pay salary and benefits for the new City staff position. Please email visitgolden@cityofgolden.net with questions.
