The Magic Mountain Archaeological site, located in a protected valley between the foothills and the hogback, offers a unique opportunity to study thousands of years of Native American life along the front range. Past excavations uncovered cultural remains that include a diverse assemblage of tools, processing implements and fire features.
Join Archeologist, Meg Van Ness, on a field trip to learn about the results of past excavations including the people who lived there and a look at the plants they may have used. One of Meg's primary interests is the archeological remains of prehistoric plant use.
