2-9PM Harvest Fest @ The Horse Protection League

The Horse Protection League will host the second Fall Harvest Fest at historic Churches Ranch. The festival will feature live music, food and refreshments, a silent auction, plus activities and facepainting for kids.

The event is open to the public. Admission is free. Visitors will be able to tour the ranch built in 1862, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. The HPL cares for 22 rescued horses, many of which are available for adoption.

Facepainting will be available free of charge from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The Horse Protection League is celebrating31 years for the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing horses, donkeys and mules. The organization is operated by volunteer wranglers, handlers and board members.
