This 6-week hands-on art workshop invites young artists to explore the exciting world of collage — transforming everyday materials into imaginative works of art. Participants will learn to express their ideas and personal identity using basic collage techniques. These techniques include ripping or tearing the paper, cutting into shapes or strips, adding their own drawing, writing or doodling and by creating texture with special papers or layering.
Through weekly guided sessions, students will experiment with the various techniques and work with color and composition. The students will contribute to a community project and create individual pieces of art weekly. Register
