Tonight's Topics:
The DDA is focusing on grants tonight. They will consider a recommendation by the Grant Subcommittee to raise the grant limits next year: Capital Improvement Grants from $15,000 to $25,000 and Professional Services Grants from $5,000 to $7,500.
They are also looking for ways to help the downtown businesses recover from the losses they incurred by losing power the weekend before Christmas. The board as a whole will consider two options:
- Partial rebate based on monthly rent.
- One time grant based on business size.
