Tonight's topics include:
- The GURA Commissioners will hear status reports regarding the flood mitigation efforts on Lena Gulch and the complete streets project on West Colfax. GURA is contributing $200K and $700K to these projects, respectively.
- Staff has published an RFP for a "conditions survey" (blight study) on The Junction, the newly annexed land at the north end of the City.
- Staff is negotiating a tax increment deal on the Nazarene Church property, which is slated to become affordable housing.
- Staff has received information from the developers who plan to build affordable housing at 17200 W. Colfax.
- The City is working with consultants to strengthen the power grid in Golden. A June 3rd meeting is scheduled for businesses to learn more about their power resiliency options.
