EDComm will consider sponsorship requests from the following:
- Golden Startup Network ($3,600 to cover coffee provided by Connects Workspace - p. 7 of the meeting packet)
- Golden Fashion Show to be held at Connects Workspace ($3,000 - p. 10 of the meeting packet)
They will begin discussing their 2026 work plan.
The 2026 budget (p. 12 of the meeting packet) includes
- $40,000 for business grants
- $15,000 for a feasibility study to consider establishing a maker space in Golden
- $12,000 for "Digital Resources" (described in previous years as encompassing their webpage and a custom database for internal use)
- $10,000 for sponsorships
- $10,000 for "Entrepreneurship and Innovation"
- $5,000 to support the Small Business Development Center
