Tonight's study session will focus on "form zone overlays" which would support greater density in Golden. This is in response to the July 8th City Council study session, in which some Councilors expressed interest is scraping existing single-family homes to build multi-family homes or cottage clusters. They were particularly interested in revising the RE zoning, which allows larger lot sizes.
Councilor Patty Evans' written comments took another approach, urging preservation of existing houses. Those comments are included in the meeting packet.
