Worried about the proliferation of fake news, political polarization and threats to our democracy? Join us for a five-week series, Is Media Ruining Our Democracy, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Jefferson County and the Jefferson County Public Library.
In these interactive workshops, we'll explore modern media, the proliferation of fake news and how we got here; recognizing and confronting bias; how to survive the avalanche of fake news and begin to mend political divisions; and AI and its threat to our democracy. In week five (March 19), we'll hear from a panel of experts on how to address these challenges. Free and open to the public. More information
