The Arts & Culture grants subcommittee is meeting at 2PM at City Hall. The grant applications have not been posted online.
The full Arts & Cultures Commission meets at 5PM. They will discuss goals and strategies from a recent workshop; their communications and messaging plans, and "Golden Museum-related Goals" (not sure whether that's just the History Museum or the other museums in town). They will discuss their strategies and prioritize their strategies.
The packet includes update on the various public art projects recently installed (downtown bike racks), soon to be installed (Ulysses Park, Triangle Park), and envisioned for the future (new City Hall). Conservators are working on the Return of the Cutthroat sculpture and will be assessing the WWI Liberty Bell that will be moving to the new City Hall.
The Arts & Culture grants are being reviewed and discussed offline. The subcommittee will bring their recommendations to the Commission in December.
