The Finance Director will review the Sales, Use, Lodging, and Marijuana tax reports for the month of July. Local sales tax receipts are down slightly, while outside sales tax (Amazon, for example) is up significantly. The long (and always interesting) report begins on p. 4 of the meeting packet.
The Committee will review the 2026 Draft Operating and Capital Improvement Plan Budget (begins on p. 21). Should be an interesting discussion, as there are some negative numbers in outlying years.
They will hear from the Parks Director and the two Parks Deputy Directors regarding current and upcoming projects.
