How does an RMQM exhibit come to be?

Shirley Esher, the RMQM Exhibits Manager, will share how the various exhibits at RMQM are selected and the behind the scenes of what it takes to get shows ready for display.

Did you know the planning for most exhibits starts 2 to 3 years before they are displayed in the gallery?
Have you noticed our galleries are a combination of museum and art gallery? Every exhibit is different and that keeps the planning exciting, but also means unique challenges with each one.

Join us at Sunday at the Museum to find out the twists and turns exhibits take in the process of going from idea to full blown exhibit. Sort of like creating a quilt - there are lots of decisions to be made and creative choices!
