A professional photographer and video documentarian who recently conquered cancer, Rich Luckin captures images of Golden while he takes his daily, restorative morning walks. Enjoy Rich’s beautiful Golden Images, and beyond, in this photography show.

Surrounded by North and South Table Mountains, Clear Creek has drawn people to this area for millennia. 

We Are Still Here:  The Endurance of Native Jewels
(through April 2026)
Indigenous women have persevered through hundreds of years of oppression and numerous attempts to destroy their culture. Explore modern Native fashions that utilize ancient Indigenous jewels and learn about prominent Native women in contemporary American society.

Discovery Awaits:  Indigenous Connections, Epic Events, Legendary People, and the Touch Gallery. 

Golden History Park (11th & Arapahoe):  The outdoor setting re-creates the look and feel of a late 1800's mountain ranch complete with gardens, a working blacksmith shop, schoolhouse and chicken coop (chickens included).

The main floor exhibits feature specimens from many Colorado mining districts, other global localities and an introductory video on area geology. The Special Exhibit Room hosts prominent precious metal and invited displays. The main gallery also showcases historic mining murals by Irwin Hoffman.

The basement contains numerous exhibits regarding radioactivity, fossils, basic geology, gemstones, meteorites, ultraviolet minerals and underground mining illumination. The outdoor geologic trail features seven outcrops with various geologic and paleontological points of interest, including fossilized dinosaur tracks, logs and leaves.

MEN’S EXHIBIT 2026 is RMQM’s 18th exhibit of quilts made by men since its opening in 1990. This biennial tradition lives on as visitors love seeing quilts made by men! 

NORTHEAST GALLERY 
Conversations - A Solo Exhibit by Carol Ann Waugh
(through April 18, 2026)
Carol embarked on this series of quilts to document her life by looking at important events that took place during significant years in her life.  Starting with 1948 and ending in 2014 each piece takes the viewer on a visual journey through the past, touching on inventions, science, famous and infamous people, women’s achievements, and popular culture.  When people view these pieces up close, they can turn to the people next to them and it starts up a conversation.

The First Annual Golden Comfort & Comedy Festival

Workshop: Stage Combat 101

When: 1PM
Where: Gnarly's, 1224 Washington Avenue, Suite 200, Golden, CO

Age range to participate: Adults and kids 8+ 

This workshop will focus on the basics of unarmed stage combat. By the end of the session, participants will break into small groups to devise their own short scenes to showcase the techniques they’ve learned. Limitations/Requirements: Please be aware this is by nature a very physical class. Though we may be able to work around some prior injury concerns, please consider your comfort level before signing up. Participants need to wear easy to move in pants/shorts, shirts that can be tucked in, and avoid hard buckle belts, big earrings, and the like. Closed Toe athletic shoes. Knee pads and elbow pads are welcomed, but not provided.

Sunday at the Museum - Behind the Seams: Meet the Makers of the Men’s Exhibit

What happens when a Broadway performer and a classically trained musician trade their scripts and scores for fabric and thread? Join us for a captivating artist talk highlighting the work and process of two exhibitors from the 18th Biennial Men’s Exhibit.

Michael Gold, a performing artist, and Jerry Dunbar, a classically trained musician will share the stories behind their featured quilts. From Michael’s 38-year evolution from hand-piecing to free-motion quilting to Jerry’s original designs crafted on his grandmother’s 1951 Singer, this talk explores their journey, techniques, and the inspiration behind their works.

We are delighted to bring you the regional premiere of a brand-new comedy by the same playwright who brought us our award-winning hit, A JUKEBOX FOR THE ALGONQUIN. Tensions flare when a forced-to-downsize Michigan matriarch and her grown children clash over everything from tofu to Toledo to goal posts to Gordon Lightfoot. It's a laugh-out-loud look at the battles we never outgrow, no matter how old we get.

Workshop: Short Form Improv Game Experience

When: 4PM

Age range to participate: Adults and kids 16+ 

In this workshop, you’ll experience the thrill of thinking on your feet with other scene partners, all while working to obtain the end goal of the game. You’ll gain experience in listening, pivoting, acting, collaborating, creating and split focus. The workshop will consist of some basic coaching, followed by a series of fast and easy improvisation challenge games. Limitations/Requirements: Some games may focus on physical comedy, but you will always be able to decide your own comfort level. Closed toe/non-slip shoes are recommended.
