Sue is relatively new to the world of mosaic, but she has shot off like a rocket.

A collection of ceramic works focused on foundation and quality. Once a solid foundation is established, the artist elaborates on the structure’s physical and conceptual direction of growth. This lifelong pursuit blends professionalism with the flexibility to build upon previous concepts.

Clear Creek Room:  The Heart of Golden
Surrounded by North and South Table Mountains, Clear Creek has drawn people to this area for millennia. 

Discovery Awaits:  Indigenous Connections, Epic Events, Glimpses of Golden, Legendary People, and the Touch Gallery, Welcome Home: Honoring Colorado’s Vietnam Veterans. 

Golden History Park (11th & Arapahoe):  The outdoor setting re-creates the look and feel of a late 1800's mountain ranch complete with gardens, a working blacksmith shop, schoolhouse and chicken coop (chickens included).

NEW EXHIBIT:  The Martin Zinn Quartz Collection
(through August 2027)
Come see over 150 glittering specimens of quartz in every shape and size imaginable, spanning localities from across the globe!  

The main floor exhibits feature specimens from many Colorado mining districts, other global localities and an introductory video on area geology. The Special Exhibit Room hosts prominent precious metal and invited displays. The main gallery also showcases historic mining murals by Irwin Hoffman.

The basement contains numerous exhibits regarding radioactivity, fossils, basic geology, gemstones, meteorites, ultraviolet minerals and underground mining illumination. The outdoor geologic trail features seven outcrops with various geologic and paleontological points of interest, including fossilized dinosaur tracks, logs and leaves.

MAIN GALLERY
Anne Olsen Quilts from RMQM's Permanent Collection

RMQM presents a series of quilts by Anne Olsen. Anne methodically rescued orphan quilt blocks, dissembled and then reworked them to refine the color scheme or improve the piecing accuracy, often salvaging fabric from other old blocks to complete a set.

NORTHEAST GALLERY 
20 Perspectives | Conversing with the Earth

20 Perspectives began several years ago during COVID when many of the group were looking to make new connections. Ultimately, the members who joined together come from nine countries and four continents. The group meets twice monthly via Zoom to discuss their work and decide upon themes that lead to three quilt collections a year.

Jeffco 4-H Open House

4-H is a positive youth development program that provides young people with hands-on learning experiences to build life skills they carry into adulthood. Skills like leadership, public speaking, responsibility, and working through challenges are all things that members learn. Youth join a club where they connect with other kids and complete an interest-area project, whether it's raising livestock or making a scrapbook; there are over 50 projects to explore! Join us at the Jeffco Fairgrounds to meet our club leaders, check out project demonstrations, and learn what it means to be part of 4-H.
