In 2020 (because of the pandemic), the City had to cancel their annual tours of the Golden Cemetery. As a consolation gift to my subscribers, I wrote a self-guided cemetery tour: "Millers and Scribblers - Golden's Mill Owners and the Transcript family."
The next year, the volunteer who had been giving the City's tours had a health emergency, so the history museum asked me to fill in. I've been doing them ever since! Each year, I've covered a distinct subset of our Golden forebears:
2021 - Wild to Wondrous: Those who shaped today's Golden cemetery
2022 - Farmers and Ranchers
2023 - Mavens and Merchants: Prominent business owners
2024 - Fabulous Females of Golden
