19th Street Closure - March 21-29, 2026
Hello neighbors,
19th Street will be closed in both directions between Elm and Illinois Streets from Saturday, March 21st through Sunday, March 29th. The sidewalk on the north side of 19th Street will remain open during this closure period. The detour will follow Elm Street to 18th Street to Illinois Street. The Mines student body and Golden High School will be on Spring Break during this closure period.Please use safety and caution and follow the directions on signs and from flaggers.

Spectacular Clear Creek Canyon Trail now extends 3.25 miles upstream from Golden
