The Golden Welcome Center has secured a thirty-year extension on its land lease with the City of Golden at 10th & Washington. This ensures that the community’s “front door” will remain a welcoming presence at its present location in downtown Golden for decades to come.
Founded in 1995 as the Golden Visitors Center, the nonprofit organization leased city land in March 1996, and through generous community support built its permanent home at 1010 Washington Avenue. Golden, Colorado – A 23-year-old man was reported missing in Golden on Wednesday, prompting a search after clothing believed to be his was found at a local trailhead.
