City staff have received an increasing number of inquiries from community members about the City’s response to homelessness. The rise in individuals experiencing homelessness is part of a growing regional and national crisis, and the expansion of emergency shelters and affordable housing has not kept pace with the number of people facing eviction and housing instability. Teen Iron Chef competitors take over Golden Library

Looking around the Golden Library’s stacks and study areas now, it’s hard to tell that a few days ago, it was the fiercest cooking battleground this side of the Mississippi.
