The Adolph Coors Co. has purchased most of the Golden city block from 12th to 13th Sts. between Ford and East St.
Colorado Transcript – January 17, 1963

The seller was Steve Frederick Chevrolet Co. Frederick had recently sold his dealership to Chuck Stevinson, but Coors had no immediate plans to occupy the property, so Stevinson continued to operate on Ford Street until about 1970.

Prior to the Chevy dealership, that block had held a lumberyard and four houses

Still earlier, the Cambria Brick and Tile Works had operated in that vicinity.

Today, that site is used as part of Coors' shipping operation.
