It's An Unbelievably Busy Life @ Miners Alley

The creative team at Miners Alley Performing Arts Center will be BUSY from now till the end of the year. They are offering THREE holiday plays. Stocking Stuffers and It's a Wonderful Life: A Life Radio Play will play in repertory for matinee and evening performances. The Story of the Nutcracker (for young audiences) will play in morning and noon performances.
Dinner at one of the downtown restaurants and a play at Miners Alley is holiday tradition for many Golden people. Most of these performances will probably sell out (or be close to it), so you should get your tickets as soon as possible.
Previews Today - Only $25!
We have a unique opportunity to see one or both of the adult plays today. They're doing preview performances of It's a Wonderful Life at 2PM and Stocking Stuffers at 7:30PM. Even better--tickets are only $25, general admission (no assigned seats) for both previews.

The November 25, 1986 Golden Transcript announced that the Leadership Golden Alumni Association had just released a Christmas ornament, featuring a drawing of Castle Rock by acclaimed Golden artist Hal Shelton. Sales of the ornaments helped fund the following year’s Leadership Golden class.

The fund-raiser was successful enough that they repeated it the following year–and every year since. Leadership Golden is tuition free, run entirely with volunteer labor and funded entirely by Christmas tree ornaments!

The 2025 ornaments are now available at the Golden Welcome Center and Red Wagon Gift Shop (map).
Leadership Golden alumni will be selling the 2025 ornaments at the Golden Candlelight Walk (December 5th) with artist Janet Kucks in attendance to sign them. You'll find them at the Golden Welcome Center.
The earliest ornaments are scarcer than hen’s teeth, but the Alumni Association has some of the older ones and will be selling them at the Candlelight Walk.
