This exhibit is the result of the THEME challenge "Thorns and Spikes" for a group who all live in the Common 4 Corner states, and the only rule is that their work represents these states.

When: 12-3PM
Where: Golden Community Center, 1470 10th Street, Golden

We will gather in a shared space for learning, collaboration, and discussion. Lunch will be provided. Spanish/English Interpretation will be available upon request.

Over the past few months, the Food Systems and Policy team at JCPH has taken a close look at the different pieces of the food system in Jefferson County, including where food is produced and accessed (farms, community gardens, stores, food pantries, and more). They have also surveyed county plans and zoning regulations to better understand how existing policies and zoning regulations may help or hinder our community’s access to nutritious foods. They will share what they’ve learned, but most importantly, they want to hear from YOU about your experiences and priorities to improve food access and production in Jeffco.

Please contact Lisa Long at llong@jeffco.us with any questions.

Please REGISTER by May 1 so we may plan for food, interpretation, and other accommodations: JeffCo Community Listening Session Registration
