This special meeting of the GURA board takes place in the Public Works building, so broadcast and recording of the proceeding is uncertain.
The agenda does not include an item for public comment, but they are required to allow it, so if you wish to comment, plan to attend.
Tonight's topic concerns the vacant land recently annexed to the north end of town. In order to make this an urban renewal area, GURA required a study declaring the land to be blighted. Tonight, the board will conduct a final review of the blight study and vote to recommend to City Council that The Junction should become Golden's newest urban renewal area.
