Join Jefferson Humanists for a special program by Dr. Andrew Denison, Director of Transatlantic Networks, Bonn, Germany, for his presentation, Transatlantic Relations in Turbulent Times.

Dr. Denison will discuss the multiple challenges confronting the relationship between the United States and the nations of Europe. These include the war in Ukraine, the Russian threat, the Middle East, China, energy, and artificial intelligence. He will emphasize how European weakness and American unpredictability make all these challenges more difficult.

Dr. Denison is Director of the Transatlantic Networks, a center for foreign policy consulting and education, in Bonn, Germany. Dr. Denison received his Ph.D. from the Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at the Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C., his M.A. from the University of Hamburg, and his B.A. from the University of Wyoming. Andrew Denison grew up in Laramie, Wyoming, and is a bicyclist, backpacker, husband, and father of two sons. His mother, Judy Denison, is a member of Jefferson Humanists.

This program is hosted by Jefferson Humanists, a chapter of the American Humanist Association.

Gather at 4pm; Dr. Denison will speak at 4:15 p.m. Bring food for discussion and a potluck from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.
