The DDA held an off-site/off-camera meeting in early August, to discuss their current, ongoing, and upcoming projects. In addition to the already-committed projects, they came up with several others. Staff sent the board members a list of possible new projects and asked them to vote for their top two. The results aren't in the meeting packet (as of Sunday night), but they will be discussing their votes at tonight's meeting.

In the meantime, these are the projects currently in their queue. Be aware that some of these have already been in the queue for months or years and may remain in the queue for additional months or years.

  • Prospector Alley 14th to 15th Streets
  • 12th Street Plaza Event and Investigation
  • Repair/ Replace Arch Santa
  • Complete Miners Alley Light Project
  • Design Creek Corridor east of Ford Street
  • Wayfinding Improvements
  • Parfet Park Electric Upgrades
  • Ford Street Undergrounding
  • Downtown Trash and Recycling Pilot Project
  • Washington at SH 58 Gateway(contiued discussions)
  • 11th and Jackson Streetscape (early phase)
  • Goosetown neighborhood study
  • Plan and Plant to create Big legacy shade trees
