The City's website shows a DDA meeting tonight, but no agenda had been posted as of press time. You can check this page to see whether one has since been posted.
As of last month, they were planning to discuss these topics at the September meeting:
- The Police Special Operations Unit will talk about trends downtown, including concerns about the homeless population.
- The board will discuss an upcoming event on October 10th where they will repurpose the parking lot between the Astor House and Miners Alley Theater. They want to use it as a public plaza instead of a parking lot for the day, to test out the concept of making that change permanent. They also plan to make it a showcase for the various DDA projects.
- Contributing $7500 to a sponsorship with radio station KOSI, which plays all Christmas music during the holidays.
