Change Order #3 for the New City Hall:
The new City Hall will be built with "mass timber" framing rather than traditional steel framing. They had planned to work with a Canadian company to procure the timber, but the recent tariffs have made them less desirable than an American company. This change order will allow the city to make a deposit of $271,635.29 for the timber. The meeting memo states that this, in addition to the two change orders approved last month, bring the current pre-construction activities to $634,375,32.
