Public Comment
The meeting begins with public comment. If you want to address Council, you will have three minutes to speak. Any public comments received by email before 3PM will be posted in the meeting packet after 3 (so check back then!).
Third Party Investigation
Councilors Knecht and Pfau were charged with hiring outside consultants to investigate "the incident" that led to a firefighter, the Fire Chief, and the City Manager being dismissed.
They are also hiring an outside law firm, rather than using the City's own in-house attorney. The sole topic of tonight's meeting is approving a contract for up to $55,000 with the external law firm. That law firm will assist with the third party investigation. Learn more.
