Staff has been evaluating two vendor platforms and will recommend one of them. They are seeking board input as to what data points they should include on the dashboard. - Makerspace Feasibility Study RFP Update
Staff has hired a consultant to study the requirements and space needs to establish a makers space in Golden. - 26-28 Budget
Proposed budget includes training/travel ($10K/yr ); makerspace support ($20K/yr); Economic Indicator Dashboard ($15K/yr); Community Sponsorships ($12K/yr); Grant budget ($40K/yr). - Sales, Use, Lodging, and Marijuana Tax
Sales tax is up, but much of the gain is driven by out-of-city sales such as Amazon.com. Lodging tax is currently below the budget target. Marijuana tax is above budget.
