The board will approve the minutes from the April 6th meeting and listen to public comment.
Tonight's topics include the following:
- A representative from the Parks Department will describe the work on Lions Park. Depending on the cost of that project, it may trigger the need for a new piece of public art.
- Staff will tell the board about work on the Arts & Culture section of the City website.
- The History Museum director will summarize the museum's strategic planning process.
- The Art in Public Places subcommittee will lead a discussion about the remaining funds available for art in Ulysses Park.
- Len Matheo (Artistic Director at Miners Alley and member of the Arts & Culture Board) will tell the group about the inaugural "Comfort and Comedy Festival," which took place at several venues around town in February.
