Though listening might seem easy, there’s often static that makes it hard for us to truly hear each other, especially during these strained political times. Becoming better listeners helps us be more constructive citizens, colleagues, friends and family to each other. To enhance our listening skills, Golden United, in collaboration with the City of Golden, is offering Deep Listening training.
Wednesdays: May 21, September 3, and October 1, 2025

During these sessions, you will develop your listening skills by:
- discovering common and surprising obstacles to hearing each other
- learning strategies to engage your curious compassion and active listening
- practicing new listening habits during and between these sessions
Each of the three sessions will cover content that can stand alone and yet will build on the prior session, so join us for any one or all three of these Deep Listening experiences.
