Businesses all over town are participating in this celebration of Golden locals. Tonight's theme is "Where the West Lives," so you may see more than the usual complement of folks dressed in cowboy hats and boots.
- There will be a bouncy castle, dance instruction, food trucks, fitness challenges, and giveaways at the Welcome Center parking lot, courtesy of Unite Fitness, Tattered N' Torn, Virtuosity Dance Centre, Scully’s Coffee Trailer, Runner’s Roost, and Wicker Hive Scrumptious Ice Cream.
- Baby Doe's Clothing and the Red Wagon have artist demos, patio shopping, prizes, clowns, entertainment, and BINGO!
- Go to Foothills Art Center - Astor House to make an air dry clay bolo tie. They're partnering with Middlemist Floral Company, Adorne Artisan Jewelry, Old Barrel Tea, and the Golden Makers.
- Miners Saloon has live music tonight.
- Yo Colorado has a "live hat bar" with western themed graphics, photo ops with a sasquatch, and a drawing for a $100 gift card. Trailhead Taphouse next door has live music, food & drink specials, and giveaways.
- Alyth Active is offering dance lessons, a photo booth, and a chance at giveaways.
- Kids can decorate cupcakes at Goldmine Cupcakes.
- Eldorado Mexican Restaurant is serving their usual excellent fare and giving away SWAG.
- The Old Capitol Grill will have specials for people wearing cowboy hats and boots.
- Golden Pantry & Thrift is open late tonight. They're featuring fall wardrobe essentials at great prices.
- Bentgate Mountaineering - Golden Bike Shop will have bike demos (mountain, gravel, and electric), free walk-in bike tune-ups and repairs, and bluegrass music.
