This photo shows the Golden Mill when it served as a feed store. The Transcript notes that Colorado hay was limited and expensive that year due to dry weather, so this load came from Nebraska.
Ed Ramstetter owned the Golden Mill until his death in 2003. The Purina logo in the background is probably about where the tap wall is today.
In another episode of Golden History Comes Out of the Closet, this cap is a reminder of the building's feed store days.
