One of my favorite events is scheduled to happen this week—the Library Foundation's Whale of a Used Book Sale. They hold this sale twice a year—spring and fall. They are looking for volunteers:

We need volunteers to help on our sales floor, checking in ticket holders, and sharing their smiles and love of books and reading!
