The DDA will consider granting a TIF (Tax Increment Financing) agreement worth up to $950,000 to Habitat for Humanity. This would support their project to replace a single family home at 817 14th Street (map) with 40 townhome and condominium units. These homes will be sold to households earning up to 80% of the Area Median Income. In addition to the TIF agreement with DDA, the City of Golden plans to contribute $179,478 to the project. Description of this project begins on p. 38 of the meeting packet.

Miners Alley Performing Arts Center is requesting a $275K grant from the DDA. The money would support phase II of their development plan.

Foothills Art Center is requesting a grant of up to $500,000 to help pay off the debt incurred to restoring and remodeling the Aster House.

Staff will present a plan to turn some or all of the parking lot between the Astor House, Miners Alley into a "cultural plaza" and/or "common consumption" area. Depending on the option chosen, this would eliminate 0-45 parking spaces. Learn more beginning on p. 60 of the meeting packet.

Finally, they will review their accomplishments for 2024 (p. 67) and their goals for 2025 (p. 70).
