The Parks and Rec Board will hear a report on the Splash water park, which is scheduled to open on May 24th this year. They will learn about last Saturday's unveiling of the new pick & shovel artwork in New Loveland Mine Park. They will recap Tuesday night's Heart of Golden meeting, which focused on the East Street Corridor and Lions Park.
The Parks staff has been undergoing training regarding pesticide-free parks management. The City has been piloting this type of management in DeLong Park for a couple of years. Click here to see some of their training courses.
They will be posting a sign on the Clear Creek Trail listing the City Council and Parks & Rec Board members.
The Mayor will announce new board & commission members on April 22nd.
