The June 5, 1919 Colorado Transcript included a brief article about a fight at the poor farm. Two residents argued about leaving the door to their sleeping quarters open. One beat up the other and was sentenced to thirty days in the county jail.
He seemed vastly pleased at the opportunity for a change of scenery and food.
