The Sheriff's Department has restricted access to Clear Creek because of the high, dangerous flow. At this time, a single red flag is posted, which means no swimming or tubing is allowed. If the water gets higher, they may post two red flags, which will indicate that all use (including kayaks) is prohibited. The USGS tracks and posts the depth of the water on this page.
