Golden has museums for quilts, art, history, geology, mountaineering, antique bicycles, railroads, and the wild west. Would you like to see a children’s museum added to the mix? A group has formed to evaluate that issue. If you have children (or grandchildren!) ages 0-10, they would like you to fill out their questionnaire. Your responses will be anonymous, and the survey takes about ten minutes to complete. It will remain open until March 20th. Golden City Brewery is holding a “Yappy Hour” today from 11:30-2. Bring your dog, and get a discount on a pint! They’ll have giveaways and a raffle, and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Foothills Animal Shelter.
This is the last day to celebrate Black History Month (“Black on Track“) at the Colorado Railroad Museum. Because of the weather, they will not be running a train today.
You may see a lot of Wild West-looking people wandering around downtown today. They are probably attending the Buffalo Bill Bash at the Buffalo Rose.
