Today is the final day of the Spring Whale of a Used Book Sale at the Jeffco Fairgrounds (map). You know what that means? It’s BAG DAY! You can fill a grocery bag with books, CDs, and DVDs for just $6! The sale is open from 11-3 today. All proceeds go to support library programs.
The library’s summer reading program has started. Register with the library (or online), track the time you spend reading this summer, and win prizes! The goal this year is for Jefferson County readers to spend 1,000,001 minutes reading between now and Labor Day.
The long wait is nearly over! The Golden Library will re-open on June 13th, and they’ll have a grand opening celebration on Sunday June 14th (2 weeks from today)!
The Bookmobile will be in the Library parking lot this afternoon from 12-4.
