Beautiful Junk and Valuable Compost

Today and tomorrow, The Action Center’s semi-annual “Beautiful Junk” sale is going on at the Jeffco Fairgrounds (map).  This is a fun sale, where almost everything sells for less than $10, and all proceeds go to support their mission of providing an immediate response to basic human needs and promoting pathways to self-sufficiency for Jefferson County residents and the homeless.  Admission is $3, but if you bring two cans of food for donation, you’ll earn $1 off your admission price.  For more information, call Pam McPhee at (303) 237-7704.
