It’s a big day for book-lovers! The Library’s semi-annual Whale of a Used Book Sale is going on this weekend. More than 100,000 gently used books, DVDs, audiobooks and LPs with prices from 50 cents to $3 will be available. The sale is open from 9-5 today (Friday) and tomorrow, and from 11-3 on Sunday. Sunday is Bag Day, where for just $6, you can fill a grocery bag with books.
The Halloween events are coming thick and fast now. The Library is hosting Twisted Tales: A Murder in Wonderland tonight. There’s been a murder in Wonderland and YOU need to solve it. Don’t be ‘late’ for this very thrilling date. Murder mystery written and performed by teens, for teens in grades 6-12. Costumes required, cosplay encouraged.
