Waking the Sleeping Giant - documentary about money, politics, and the 2016 election

Our former mayor, Jacob Smith, is producing a documentary regarding inequality, the role of money in politics, and the 2016 presidential campaign.  You can view a preview and support this project by visiting www.wakingthesleepinggiant.com.

The Golden History Center’s Coors exhibit, Calendar Girls to Cowboys: The Art of Selling Coors will be closing on January 3rd.  If you haven’t seen it yet, you’d better hurry!  It’s not often that you’re invited to shoot pool at a museum exhibit.

Miners Alley’s Christmas play, A Tuna Christmas, is sold out, but there may be a few single tickets still available.  Call the box office (303-935-3044) to check.  The Railroad Museum’s Polar Express is also sold out, but again, there are a few single tickets available.  They have had a few group cancellations, making tickets available at the last minute.  The best way to watch for that is through their facebook page.
