Colorado School of Mines is celebrating Earth Day on April 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. on Stratton Commons.
The event will feature free food and refreshments, live music and displays by organizations including the EPA, NREL and others. The Earth Day Celebration is sponsored by EarthWorks, a Mines student group focused on educating the community about conservation and environmental ideas.
Golden High School (701 24th Street) will do an evening of improvisational comedy starting at 7 tonight. It should be a lot of fun, and the proceeds go to benefit www.broadwaycares.com.
