Plan to attend the Taste of Golden event tomorrow night at the Mountaineering Center. Many of the local restaurants plus both Golden distilleries and all five breweries will be there. Tickets are $20, and you can take care of dinner and try some new local options!
The Historic Preservation Board meets tonight at 6:30 in City Council chambers. Last month, they were asked to consider a new 8-townhome development to be built on 8th Street. The group requested some changes to the design, and it will be reviewed again this evening. That same 8th Street development will be discussed by the Planning commission on Wednesday night. As always, if you want to weigh in on this development, attend the meetings and speak during the public comment period.
Registration for summer swim lessons begins today for city residents and tomorrow for non-residents.
