Closures: Jeffco Schools are closed. School of Mines classes are being held remotely, and the Mines meeting about Coronavirus is canceled. The Community Center, Library, History Museum, Geology Museum, and Foothills Art Center are closed. All City meetings this week are canceled.

As of last night, Jefferson County had reported four new people with Coronavirus, bringing the total to 12 in our County. Four of the eight reported recent international travel, six are still under investigation, one is “known contact,” and one is reported as “community spread.”

Official sources keep emphasizing that people 60 or older are particularly at risk. I’m sure that’s true, but it’s worth noting that of Jefferson County’s 12 cases, only 5 of the patients are 60 and older. Please take precautions, regardless of your age.
