Free Admission to the Quilt Museum, Live Music, and Theater

The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum (1213 Washington Ave.) is hosting an opening reception tonight for their new exhibit, “Without a Net.”  Enjoy refreshments and meet quilt artist Bobbi Baugh from 5-8.  Admission is free tonight!

While you’re downtown, stop in at Windy Saddle (1110 Washington Ave.), where Reed and Stinnett will be playing from 6:30-8:30.

Greg Reed Guitar/Mandolin/Vocals
Greg is an east Tennessee native who grew up there playing music. He has a long history of performing with various acoustic bands throughout Tennessee and now in Colorado. Greg was a founding member of the Denver based acoustic group White Lightning, which enjoyed a great deal of success in Colorado throughout the mid 90’s. Greg also played guitar and mandolin with both The Cletus Brothers and Black Rose.

Mickey Stinnett Resonator Guitar/Banjo/
Mickey is a Virginia native who migrated west in 1997. He played in various bluegrass bands in the Washington, DC area and won first place in the Deer Creek Pennsylvania Bluegrass Festivals’ Dobro competition. After moving to Colorado he joined ranks with noted Boulder songwriter Benny Galloway and Greg Reed, and played in the Boulder based band The Cletus Brothers. At the same time, Mickey held down the guitar duties in the band Lost Creek.

Tonight’s performance of The Cripple of Inishmaan starts at 7:30, at Miners Alley Playhouse.
