The monthly Golden Bike Cruise is tomorrow night, Tuesday the 28th. This month’s theme is “Luau,” so wear your grass skirt, coconut bra, or lei! Remember – they give away a kid’s cruiser bike and other youthful prizes just before the ride at 7:00. Kids get their special blue tix by (1) showing up, (2) wearing a costume, and (3) bringing non-perishable food for the food bank! Grown-up prizes, including an adult-sized cruiser bike, happen at 9:00.
Helmets are available for a small donation from St. Anthony’s Hospital, so be sure you protect your head. This monthly event is sponsored by the Golden Civic Foundation. Their nonprofit partners this month are the Leadership Golden folks, with an assist by the Golden Elks Lodge. CAG Food Bank friends are the course marshals each month, so be sure to give all the supporters some aloha! Beer, food, and live music are available starting at 5:30. The ride starts at about 7. Food and music will be available after the ride till 9:30.
