The 15th Annual Healthy Fair runs from 7AM to noon today at Bell Middle School (1001 Ulysses St. – map). The fair offers low-cost blood work, flu shots, mist and pneumonia shots, along with many free services, including hearing and blood pressure checks. The Railroad Museum is running their Trick or Treat Train today and tomorrow. The museum is open from 9 to 5, and train rides and other Halloween activities are available from 10 to 4.
Foothills Art Center is hosting a Costume-Making Open Studio tonight from 7 to 11. Drop in anytime after 7, bring your own materials and use their space and tools to create a terrifying or hilarious Halloween costume. With a keg from Golden City Brewery and some snacks it is a guaranteed good time, and you won’t have to worry about making a mess at home. Foothills Art Center staff will be on hand to help. 18 years and older please with a valid 21+ ID to drink. The cost is $5.
