The Golden History Center continues their popular fall lecture series Tuesday afternoon at 5, when Dr. Kaycie Rosen Grigel will discuss the medical practices of a century ago. She will describe the European and Native American herbal cures and decipher some of the “medicines” in the museum’s historic pharmacy display.
Know anyone in Golden who makes extraordinary contributions to our community but doesn’t necessarily get the recognition they deserve? The Mayor’s Awards for Excellence are an opportunity to recognize and thank those folks in Golden who go above and beyond to make our community what it is.
